Lauren's Travels

Lauren has been traveling quite a bit lately.

Sometimes she likes to bring a friend (see picture above and below).

And sometimes she likes to just read a good book.

"I'm just standing here looking at my toy."

Then you look away....for any reason.....for a split second, and you hear..........

"LALALALALALALAL...giggle, giggle....LALALALALALALA...giggle, giggle...LALAALALA"

"LALALALALALALAL...giggle, giggle....LALALALALALALA...giggle, giggle...LALAALALA"

So you turn around to see what in the world just happend and you see.......

this beautiful baby and she looks at you like, "Hey. How are you doing?"

Birthday Madness

Let the birthday celebration begin!

First, mommy & daddy took Lauren to have her favorite meal (pancakes) at IHOP.

Mommy was nice enought to help me eat.

But, hey I am ONE year old today and I can feed myself.........

After the movies it was only logical for us to move our date to.....

Lauren has been a fan of ice cream for awhile...

and boy has she come a long way!

She is really cute, all the time, but especially when she has ice cream! Everytime she takes a bite she says MMMMMM!!!! And then she lunges towards the spoon, bowl, or person closest to the ice cream to get some more! However beware if you don't get the spoon back to her fast enough......

be prepared for a meltdown.

While I Was Gone - Part 2

After Lauren's morning yoga session...

it was time to visit with family...

before getting in her carseat for another journey.

While I was gone, part 1

Lauren went on her first plane trip! Her mom and grandma (aka "Grammy") were great travel partners to help Lauren find the proper gates....and shopping. Dad was traveling in Texas for work, so he wasn't on the trip to Arizona. Look at the following picture - can you guess who is flying for the first time? :)

She was flying to Arizona to meet her great grandpa & grandpa Vinsant for the first time.

Another first, and a must do if you are in Arizona, was Lauren going swimming. She is a natural.
After a well deserved nap and.....
